Understanding Your Internet Speed Test Results

Download speed measures how quickly your device receives data from the internet. Higher download speeds help with streaming, browsing, and downloading files.

Upload speed measures how quickly your device sends data to the internet. It matters for video calls, sending files, and live streaming.

Ping (latency) measures the time it takes for data to travel to a server and back. Lower ping is generally better for gaming and real-time communication.

Jitter measures variations in latency. Lower jitter generally means a more stable connection, especially for voice and video calls.

For the most reliable result, pause downloads and streaming on other devices and run the test more than once.
